Dyslexia

Disoriented by the words that twist and turn,

Crippled by the fear to learn,

Peoples preconceived notions get the better of me,

Yet it's what powers me,

education is a catch-up game.

Teachers told me I was short-sighted and lazy, what a shame!

Yet it’s what powers me.

Told me I was below Average and placed me in Special Education.

Yet that never stopped me.

I’m here to succeed.

What powers me is to prove you wrong, is all I need.
