Déjà Vulnerable

I've been here before
And seen what it does
I've lived through the pain
And felt every cut

I've heard every laugh
Turn into a scream
And witnessed tears
Come purely from dreams

Days come and they go
With sunsets at every end
But I see what it hides
And the truth that it bends

I have this knowledge
I know all these things
I try to resist
But it keeps attracting me in

I'm falling through the trap
Though I felt it in my core
I knew what was coming
Yes, I've been here before
