Each Day, Each Night

Each passing day, each grueling night

I try not to dream of you with all my might.

Hard as I try, pray even as I fight

Your addictiveness does not escape my everlasting night.

Each wondering day, each promising night

I don't sleep, for I fight

I hope for you to come waltzing in as you did outright

Every other day, every other night.

Each sad day, each peaceful night

I watch through the windows, wishing for flight.

To be where you are, sail me there swiftly

Through the air, through clouds that are bright.

Each rainy day, each sleepless night

I hope and pray with all my might

That memories of you will not haunt me

Through another day, or another night.

Most of my poems come from personal experiences. I love to read and my inspiration to write comes from everything. Find me on Wattpad as LongSigh or on Figment as Sincerely, LostLady As you readers might have noticed, and I'd like to confirm, most of my poems are about the same person, and it made me brave by showing him the poem One More Hit. After I showed it to him he didn't speak to me for a few days, just looked at me. I love him more than anything, and I wouldn't be the person I am today, strong inside and out and a mystery to everyone but him, if it wasn't for him, his influence, and his weird affection for me.
