Up early

John 14:16-17

16 Then I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Advocate to be with you forever—

17 the Spirit of Truth, Whom the world cannot accept, because it does not see Him or know Him.

but you know Him, because He resides with you and will be in you.

Up early

Surprise you’re not the first one. Children also “enjoy” the solitude

even mostly as discomfort ... in that one should not be alone.

The perspective of early rising ... must be understood

particularly when someone sleeps ... in the “all for one” syndrome.

The Holy Spirit is a person ... He is not a vapor.

He is completely as my Lord ... with the same dedication.

He always does the Father’s Will ... and He never sleeps.

What does He do when I sleep ... for this generation?

When my frail body has conked out and my mind seems to rest.

When sudden dreams like lightning ... spark through my domain.

When nightmares come and go ... and uncertainty is frightening

or when reality turns to dust ... and then falls asleep again.

What does the Holy Spirit do ... what does He see in me?

A frightened helpless kid ... who hides in a cave?

And as He prays constantly ... to God as intercessor

He must know my every thought ... to which I am a slave.

How much room do I allow Him ... in the temple that I am?

Where does He hide ... as my temper flares?

If filled with indifference ... and I don’t care

will He leave me at times ... while I’m not even scared?
