Early AM

2 Corinthians 4:16

16 Therefore we do not despair, but even if our physical body is wearing away, our inner person is being renewed day by day.

Early morn

Here again the breath of night as the day is still sleeping

Remembrances of yesterday reach only till last night

Persons come and people go but some seem to stay with me

Maybe I should let them go and let peace settle in the light

There is no reason here that can change the self-chosen

There is only One Who can change the heart’s desire

Contentment and godliness cannot be fabricated

Maybe all in all He is the Only Way to supply that fire

Later in life it seems that understanding fades away

The little from the beginning never grows or expands

Giving up seems so silly for there was never enough

To hang on in desperation before our hopes were canned
