Early birds

Inspired by the sun we rose,

Every morning like lilies in the morning dew

Scurrying for food in our mother’s nest

Chewing on whatever our hands found first

In that warm cozy kitchen we  left in a mess

but we are soo hungry we couldn’t care less

just worried more about what she’s going to say

about the empty bottles and cookie tray.
