Ears That Listen

Often, it feels like I speak into a void

People come and go because they get annoyed

Poetry focuses on my issue

And at times shows me how I misuse

Relationships and people, rather they're at fault or it’s me

Poetry is something I need, to get through the times

Because I know it’s no one problem but mine

Yet, writing short verses feels like a good purpose

Because poetry doesn’t attack

Which is why I always come back

It helps me see a beautiful vision

Because these verses are ears that listen
