The earth

This universe does not understand
Pain
It does not understand silent deaths
And it does not understand
Silent battles
All it knows is beauty
And destruction
But still,
It does not understand pain.
Even after the living flesh has torn apart all of it's beauty
It still remembers to grow
It still remembers to renew itself
And we should do the same
When hurricanes
Or tornadoes
Knock us off of our feet
We need to remember to only know the destruction
And forget the pain
And we need to keep our violets growing
And we need to let our sun
Remain shining
