The Earth

Sometimes I can sit for hours, wanting the rain to bring the earth its showers.

But nothing seems to appear, can't mother nature be sincere.

I go outside and smell the air, this is so not fair

The summer breeze difts through the earth.

But there is no water to be found on its turf.

We are all slowly fading away

Until new people come another day.
