Earth and Moon

I'm the Earth and she is my Moon. The Moon is constantly rotating around Earth. She is always on my mind. Even when the sun rise, I still can point out my Moon. At night, when I'm alone, I look up to the sky to find my moon and she's always there. She wasn't always a Moon, she once was just another star in my sky full of stars. One day she became a shooting star, so I wished upon her. I wished she wouldn't be just another shooting star, that caught fire then faded away. Which leads this story to where we are today, Earth and Moon. She has craters and I have my natural disasters. We both have our good and our bad. She's important to me, and unlike other planets I only need one moon. I wonder will and when the Moon ever be ready to warm up and end her chilled ways. Till then I'll eclipse my red Sun of a Heart till she's ready.
