Earth Is My Name

Earth, is my name.
I protect you,
I feed you,
I give you shelter.
As I melt in my core,
I give you everything.
And more.
You ask and ask,
And I give and give.
I slowly die for you,
Every day.
You don't even know my pain.
Yet you ask for more.
You drill and dissect me.
Cuts that could never heal,
All I want is to be free.
I'll explode someday,
And it's because of you.
Earth, is my name.
