Earthly Joys

Breath like a winter's morning,

and a heart like summer's eve.

With roots like an ancient cypress,

and and words like a cooling breeze.

Strength like a mountain high,

yet soft as moistened loam.

In nature I find inspiration,

in earth I find my home.
