"An Easier Life."

Life would be easier

if I didn't despise myself,

if I didn't despise the gray eyes I see in the mirror every morning,

if I didn't despise my crooked teeth,

if I didn't despise my red cheeks,

if I didn't despise my crooked grin,

if I didn't despise my awkward body,

if I didn't hate my odd and loud laugh,

if I didn't despise my bodacious curves,

if I didn't despise my short stature,

if I didn't despise my useless talents.

Life would just be so much easier if I didn't despise every moment of my unfortunate existence.
