How easily our hearts turn ... from God in times of ease

and turn away from His Will ... directly to His Gifts.

Sickness is permitted by God ... He has the power to stop it

but Satan seems to “direct” it and when stopped throws a fit.

To be satisfied with God’s will and not murmur against it

is shown with great clarity ... in how one reacts to sickness.

If one seeks one’s own will ... there’ll be dissatisfaction

but God “wills” for our life ... contentment in forgiveness.

“Self-love” destroys what is good and spiritual works in stride.

“Self-desire” is called your “old” heart and we know what that will do

as “self-made” becomes a timeless yoke ... that rests on pride’s insight.
