3 For there will be a time when people[a] will not tolerate sound teaching. Instead, following their own desires, they will accumulate teachers for themselves, because they have an insatiable curiosity to hear new things, 4 And they will turn away from hearing the truth, but on the other hand they will turn aside to myths.

How easily our hearts turn from God in times of ease

To turn away from His Will and directly to His Gifts

Sickness is permitted by God, Who has all power

It is Satan directs it and when stopped throws a fit

To be satisfied with God’s Will and not murmur against it

It is shown rather clearly, how one reacts in sickness

If one seeks one’s own "will" there will be dis-satisfaction

If what God wants for your life is just anchor in forgiveness

Self-desire is called your old heart and we know what that will do
