Ebbed

sometimes it's better to be alone nobody can hurt you. Tormented by your own demons no new ones surfacing. I'll just watch you go. It's the calmness of loss that holds me in the cold. It's the pain from neglect that stitches my soul. Pardon my words that seem jaded. My hearts gone with you I need a replacement. Like the tide I watched you come. Now I must watch you leave. I'm a puzzle. And you'll forever be my missing piece. Lost at sea.
