Echo
Is friendship just like love?
Then why it also gives a slap without a boxing glove?
Although it smacks its fist against my face,
I don´t consider to escape.
I choose to stay beloved,
Allowing of those tears to drop.
Another day of thinking what I´m worthy of,
And I believe I´m sinking in this world of worth.
I start to think I´m futile -
So should´t we still be “mutual”?
Isn´t friendship just like love?
Then why was it so hard to talk it off?
I guess I miss that dove.
I miss your deep and caring love.
But those light eyes are full of lies,
And false sweet fireflies,
That now are hunting me whereof.
“I love you, bro” - you text above.
But I can´t say it back, of course.
Those feelings shove me off,
And now I need to just back off.
I guess, there are too many kinds of love that I am surely barren of.
