Echo

Alone

Sleepless nights

Voices in your head

Drown out all else

Not alone

The voices shout

No response

No response

Lying in bed

One can only ponder

the insignificance

of one's own voice

Everything you say

is nothing

but will be heard

you'll have the last word.
