Echoes

I scream through and through Clenched teeth Tightened covers Has if the act of silence shouldn't be offended that first landing too sacred. I scream Though it's only heard through white sheets holding me like lovers. Ready for slaughter it's no longer brand-new. Tarnished by your violence everything I know has ended. Leaving feelings naked. I scream Your melting me Into gold. Something Cherished. Yet I feel the awful weight How long, how long Till I'm your crown. I scream a wish to be seen permission to merely heal. Unfairly you can't give. In a bastille left these screams.
