Echoes of Pain: A Journey Through Self-Harm

In the silence of the night's embrace,
A battle rages, an inner chase.
With trembling hands and a heavy heart,
A soul seeks solace, torn apart.

The blade whispers, cold against warm skin,
A temporary relief from pain within.
Lines are etched, a story untold,
In crimson ink, emotions unfold.

Each cut a plea, a silent scream,
Echoes of anguish, a broken dream.
A desperate attempt to numb the ache,
Yet scars remain, a visible stake.

But beneath the scars, a spirit fights,
Yearning for dawn after endless nights.
For strength lies not in wounds that mar,
But in the courage to heal and scar.

Reach out, dear heart, you're not alone,
In shadows deep, let hope be sown.
For your story is still being writ,
In love and light, find your spirit lit.
