Echoes of Poetry

To me poetry is the echoes of a dark cave.

You stand in the dark and tell it all your secrets

Some words double back

others come back distorted and unrecognizable

A few come back as music never to be forgotten

some are gone quickly, others linger long after your gone

You speak in the cave hoping to hear it back

But you never know who else is listening

or what they will be hearing from it

Aurum

I am a teen living out a west with words on my mind and hope in my heart. I love zombies and I hope to someday be a writer worthy of the name Poe.
