Echoes voices

For years I have been trapped. In the abyss of unfathomable darkness. These echoed voices are the food That feeds my temptations. These voices are like shackles. They bind together my pain and pleasure. They constantly call my name From deep within the shadows. From deep within the shadows, You shall find lustful desires. Libidinous fire that slowly Combusts the soul of man. I’ve drank from the well of these desires Though it never quenches my thirst I have become a slave to these demons My weakness has becomes their strength My sorrow has become their joy. But even in this endless shadow, A spark of light shall bloom. A voice not from the shadows’ depth, But from the strength I thought was lost. I have stumbled, I have bled, But I will not bow to these chains. For every fall, I rise again, For every wound, a lesson gained. No longer shall I feed these demons, No longer shall I quench their thirst. I walk away, though slow, though weak Each step a war, each step my victory.
