The Echoing Wind

I embrace you from every angle

Ceaselessly causing you to shiver from my every touch

Each enticingly cool chill races down your spine

Made by the gentle brush of my fingers

Constantly being torn between being welcomed or unwanted

Emotionless however, I remain

Who might I be?

I am merely but a humble breeze

Every shuddered gasp echoes

Every hushed whisper carries

I hear all

Yet my own voice remains unheard

Created from pressure, none can match my speed

Even Hermes, try as he might

Every message voiced is a message instantaneously sent

Who am I?

I am the bellowing wind

I see all

But only one eye, have I

Sculptured at my very core

Everywhere I roam

Chaos faithfully follows

Violence is my most passionate outlet

It is also the only one that I have ever known

Rebellious by nature

Mischievous by choice

Who am I? You dare to ask

I am the unforgiving tempest
