Eclipse

To what I owe this pleasant surprise

blacken sphere in the morns sunrise

Bright rays of hope begin to dim

a man descends for it is him

Ever so dark the world becomes

and fills with childrens ghostly hums

But where to hide he always knows

for nothing slips beneath his nose

Shadows dance across the walls

and chase me down through narrow halls

But where they turn is not for

I close my eyes as not to see

A binding bond begins to tear

as precious time is on the wear

I stare into her withered eyes

but cannot come to last goodbyes

How many more of these they tell

where lies the land that slain the hell

But slowely close her withered eyes

the peircing air comes screechy cries

Whose howls these are I think you know

hes come to watch the final show

A grueling grin upon his face

it burning through my soul as mace

A heart of pain no eyes shall shear

yet glisten down the cheek a tear

he reaches out a lanky hand

to know all well where it will land

Take a glimpse of burning light

for there is nothing left to fight

A building stands while structures fall

I reach the final stopping wall
