Ecuador, How I Love Thee.

Oh Ecuador, how I love you.

From your gargantuan mountains,

To your beautifully gorgeous beaches,

And a sky that's always blue.

From the smell of gasoline

To the awesome malls you have.

Oh Ecuador,

How I love you.

I'm proud to be Ecuadorian.

That part is very true.

Oh dear lovely Ecuador,

How I love you.

I was born in Guayaquil, Ecuador. At the age of 5, I moved to New York. At the beginning of 7th grade, I moved to New Jersey. At a young age, I became ill with appendicitis, which then turned into peritonitis. The doctors in Ecuador gave me 10% chance to live, and I moved to NY precisely because I needed a fourth surgery. Without that last surgery, I wouldn't be here. My parents believe I'm a miracle, and I might as well be.
