Going back into old habits is a relief of sorts. The familiarity of drowning almost seems comforting. Digital numbers taking over day by day life and monitoring every molecule. Meticulous note-taking down to a science with the mindset of life or death. A monitored religious cycle. The schedule and routine almost applying a safety. The familiar feels nice. Even if it means the farewell of the better me.
