Eden

It’s dull, it’s dreary, there’s nothing to do

Ask the kids what they want, it’s to get out of school

To get out of this town, and find something to do

Oh how I wish I could change this mood

This blank canvas simply provides a space

A space to fill, a place to race

Just to run wild, to meet a new face

You have to mold it and shape it, it won’t start that way

Let’s add something here. Yes, a little dash there

Of something so beautiful it might make you scared

Just love it, enjoy it, make it something new

It’ll prosper and grow just as you grew

Don’t you see the potential? Just open your eyes

Open that door to see what’s inside

Don’t run toward something someone else has made

Let’s make this town new, today is it’s day
