On the Edge
I'm standing but I can't feel my legs.
I'm screaming but my words aren't heard.
I'm trying to break through but I've lost my strength.
What has my world come to.
I smile when I really mean to cry
I stand when I really want to fall
I'm showing you another me
One that I wish were reality
Too had its not that easy
To live a simple life, problem free
Instead I'm standing on the edge
Hanging on to what I have left
Moving on while I still have breath.
Living my life like it will never end
I'm standing on a thread
Crossing my fingers.... hoping for the best
