On The Edge
I’m tired and numb.
Drained and gloomy.
Down and unfriendly.
'How are you?'... They ask -
'I don’t fucking know'... I think.
I feel like crying, but I don’t know why.
There’s so much I want to share,
but I don’t know how.
I’m worried all the time,
but I don’t know the reason.
I’m okay one second, but sad the next.
I’m lost, but I don’t know why.
I don’t feel like doing anything,
but I want to do everything.
There’s a numbness I’m familiar with,
that’s reminiscent of my depression.
