We notice the wind And we notice the rain We notice the clothes And those barely visible stains But what we cant see Is what's buried inside The pain, and the hate That everyone hides We cant see the bruises From words thrown out We cant tell the voices Not to shout Why must we think That no one is sad That no one feels pain And that fights are bad Why can't we cry And why cant we fight Against all of those demons Who put out our lights Our worlds are dark With no way to see This is no way to live And no way to be We cant keep living In constant fear Of the monsters inside us That form so many tears When does it stop And when will it end This pain is too strong And it will not bend Why generalize all of this Why must I say "we" instead of I And why must I think I'm the only one who wonders why It all makes me wonder What has happened in my life That's makes me feel weak And want to end my strife And why does it feel So good to let it all go All of the things I will never let show This poem is too long And crappy all the same But I can't help but feel All of my shame Why do I write so pointlessly When I know no one will see The girl I've stuffed inside And the girl I was supposed to be I wont give up And I refuse to give in I wont let these demons out And I wont let them win So all in all What I'm trying to say Is dont give up Because of one bad day You're worth so much Way more than you think So keep your heads up Keep refusing to sink
