Some people pursue fortune, others long for fame,

And many strive to simply just make themselves a name.

But their goals have no meaning- In the end, they won't matter.

All the things of this earth will eventually tear and tatter.

So I will stand alone; run a separate course,

Because the joy and satisfaction I get comes from a different source.

I want to make a difference; I want to make a change.

I want to positively affect every life in range.

My passion is in education; I want to instruct, train, and lead.

In the future generations, I want to plant a seed.

By enhancing our schools and raising the bar,

I want to educate children and help them go far.

I am determined- ALL my goals I will reach.

I WILL transform our policies and change the way we teach.
