Education

The ignorance I shared started many years ago I am a native of the black world where I feed on my fellow humans The river I worshipped as our only means of livelihood was slavery I lived with my grandfather's head but walk with his children's feet Until the white with their evil brains of wisdom came as visitors but eventually became land owners Oh! they came, saw and conquered our pride They pulled away our skin of palm frond and clothed us with flowers which is education With it I've learned, with it I've become learned and with it am still learning. Education....my pride. #ose winners
