Will we ever need this in life?

Pointless subjects stabbed in our brain like a sharp knife.

If education is the key to success,

Why those with an education remain jobless?

We come here for lessons but we don’t learn survival,

Just the same english, math, and science waiting for our arrival.

And if knowledge is power,

Why are the creative thinkers treated so sour?

Students brainwashed into thinking a certain way,

They close your mind and brush the creativity away.

And those that don’t learn are left to stay,

Making “No child left behind” a cliché.

But we all attend seeking the American dream,

So we continue sticking useless lectures in our blood stream.
