EDUCATION IN THIS GENERATION

They say education is the road to success right?, well I don’t know if education is the same

Maybe that saying is to old and outdated  Because now days students care more about their grade than what actually going in their brain.

You see now day’s education is just a game .

We leave high school with a diploma and raise it proud and high, but at the same time, we leave high school and don’t know a thing about life. We leave high school and don’t know the first thing about Paying bills Filing taxes or raising baby without its teenage daddy.

You see our history books happen to have holes because there are many stories that go untold

Addie Mae Collins, Richard Dixon, and Malcolm X But nobody wants to talk about that

because we all know it won’t be on the next test so clearly these students can care less.

Our teachers fail to remind us about real life and things that go on everyday but are just turned to a blind eye.

Maybe they don’t realize THIS IS THE FOUNDATION TO OUR LIFES!

They say education is the road to success.

Maybe my generation is just a mess; you see our schools have turned into fashion shows. Where students wear no clothes

Just to see who’s looking and if that helps them get an “A”

All I’m going to say is there are teachers who are taking advantage of these children who are just giving their self away,

For a “class participation grade”. At what point did this thing called education just up and change?

There was a time when student had to pick up a book and read

but now it like technology has took over our ways and turned us all into slaves.

Facebook addicts, Snapchat junkies, Twitter Fein It’s like we are all blinded, or maybe were just hiding from reality we’re losing focus and letting this thing called technology control us

Even if we have to go back to those days when teachers had to pat us on our backside to remind up how to behave. My generation has to find a way.

Their building jails everyday waiting on a child to become a inmate

and were not reminded .thats how they get paided

All I’m saying is there has to be a change for my generation in this system we call education
