The Education Light Splitter

Of Forgotten Faces and masks abode, This place I heed and so I loathe

Of course it's here where I found You, You the person who so quickly grew

Shallow and earthly, yet no matter. Of Tall Tales hearts you calmly shatter.

I stood in awe with no words yet Spoken. You, with your mystic prowess lay out in the open.

It glowed brightly, my learning. My calm. That light.  You made me feel so dull.

Shapeless. Everlasting. Did I ever exist at all?

It was the moments in the dark that drew me towards your light.  Like a moth to a flame.

Or rather a heart with something to gain. Maybe it was My LIfe, wheels with no destination, 

Drifting without a lane. Or simply a heart which didn't feel pain.

Forgotten, this is the word which I so desperately wanted to feel from you. 

Leave me with my lifes curtain. My lies behind the scenes.

Forgotten in the same routine which cheated me out of all my dreams. 

The dreams you had Created. Or so it seemed.

It took so Little for these things to Pierce through me with an abandon which seemed so Obscene.

And it was still You, and your soft gleam. The light that carried me,

And everything I've become and Everything that I'll ever be.

You're so dark it nearly made me seem obsolete. What's the point of prying for you,

When even I am not the perfection so desperately hoped and framed throughout Your Expectation.

I reach it without a Ladder. Or a stepping stool. 

Hoping to make it somewhere with someone who doesn't treat me like a tool.

Perhaps even a Mule. 

Such a beautiful Language I speak with you. Of failure, and pressure, and words with no Meaning.

And through my faith and continuation with You. You. You.

I reach my hand out of the Cage you made for me. Towards the light that You. You. You.

Through the darkness that You and only You.

Have made for me.
