You tell us to prepare for college 

And cram our brains with useless knowledge

That won't help us in our lives

Won't help us support our wives

Why am I learning about pre-calculus,

If i'm becoming a sports analyst?

Why am I learning chemistry,

If I want to be a deputy?

Our curriculum just doesnt make sense

It's just another public expense

Teach us more important life skills

That may one day help us pay the bills

The things I learn should be relevant to me

To bring out the best me I can be

So please help us change this system

So we can grow to be filled with wisdom
