Effortless Falls

There are gaps in the darkness, revealing realms to see,

whether it leads me to light or entraps me in deceit,

I walk sword in hand cautious to unsheathe,

my breath quieted my senses are lost to me,

rhythms of shadows dancing on my soul,

lighting the scorching fires in the darkest of coals,

here and there become directionless to my ways,

as I walk blind to my fate till the end of days,

shedding my outer skin I am free of my pain,

I become two sides of a coin revealing pure love and hate
