eggshells

hundred tiny white shells at my feet,

I have to tred carefully.

Suddenly they crack,

and I'm falling.

What happened?!

Did I do something wrong?!

Down a hole where nobody goes,

and the only thing above me,

is you.

Shouting, screaming,

words that become knives,

as they cut though my flesh.

I can't feel them.

All I want is to stop falling,

to reach the bottom.

Yet you,

who I hate so much,

throw down a rope to me,

and pull me back up.

Thousand tiny white shells at my feet,

I have to tred carefully.
