In eighteen sixty-five I sailed

In eighteen sixty-five I sailed the sea, and I looked down at my feet.

Far away the captain shouted but to me, my ears betrayed

I saw his arms a-waving and I felt the salty sea

But the one thing I did not understand, is why he never saw me.

My boots brushed the deck below as I bucked to the ship

"down!" I yelled, "down!" I screamed, a filth, a tear, a rip.

Annalise said that she misses me, I just cant make her see

that the only part of nature is the piece that's truly free.
