Eighty Years Too Soon

A life too soon ended,

So many left behind.

Seventeen years suspended,

Too early to resign.

A father, a son,

A friend to many.

If such a thing could be undone,

We'd spend a pretty penny.

To keep him from reaching his full moon,

Eighty years too soon.
