El Paso
A city unlike the others,
segregated in far west texas,
sits a border city,
filled with all of my exes.
The Sun City is a nice place to be,
the people are friendly,
good food is plentiful,
the sunsights are a sight to see.
The mountains make this place unique,
they cast a shadow that engulfs the city,
they cut through the cloud on a gloomy day,
I enjoyed my time here, but I refuse to stay.
Mexican culture is abundant here,
thanks to our neighbor Juarez,
A city that reeks with fear.
A place hated by so many and liked by so few,
the resenment towards this place from people who never knew,
the memories and the potential this city holds,
the leaders and the stars who are the future, ever so bold.
This city lives with me in my thoughts forever,
my roots started here and I will blossom elsewhere,
our time together was something I cant forget,
now I leave you to the future generations, something I wont regret.
