El Relato de Mi Vida

If only you knew While you find humor In the memories that made me I'm looking for protection From the nightmares that torture me See , you don't fully know The real story You base your knowledge off of What was visual to the eye But clueless on what lays beneath the surface See, I i've been through it all Not only was my heart broken But my spirit and faith as well Lost all hope and emotionally went numb Mentally incapable So you see While you find humor In the memories that made me I'm looking for protection From the nightmares that torture me My body Misused and abused deadly vitals entering my system Killing, my immune system Breaking my physical strength Leaving me weak and helpless Are you beginning to comprehend? My outer exterior Contain evidence of the pain Each scar holding a meaning The fire to my veins bring that sense of control As well as self abuse But the sensation so worthwhile It's become my cure While you find humor In the memories that made me I'm looking for serenity From the nightmares that torture me My mind-state unstable My life flashing before my eyes All because those repetitive lies Caused me to turn into a thief and Threaten to rob my last breath Lost all desire to survive Attempted murder In hopes to seek relief While you find humor In the memories that made me I'm looking for strength From the life that broke me
