Electric Love

these thoughts haunt me endlessly
but your spiritual presence projects
a thick barrier, reflecting these
attacks back into the darkness of my walls
the fear does not break
the circuit of electricity we’ve created
between our two hearts
the lightning never stops and it feels so good
to feel something that’s good
