An Electronic Generation

Where have they gone?

The days in which we were able to run and play,

In the company of our friends

When did everything change?

Our playgrounds replaced by computers,

And our friends primarily found online

Why is it so?

People spend more time with their eyes glued to an electronic screen,

Unaware of the gift of life that is slowly slipping by

How do we live?

So isolated in the presence of others,

Yet surrounded by community in the digital realm

Who are we?

We are the generation of the future,

Expected to bring about change

What will we do?

Unite to build a better existence for generations to come,

Or continue to focus on our lives, digitalized?
