An Elegy to Wasted Memories

Oh, the things we could have done!

The problems that could have been solved,

And the wonders we could have built

Are forever gone.

Dreaming of the possibilities,

I cannot help but wonder

What this world could be

If we had taken advantage of these opportunities.

The only thing that remains

Of these fleeting moments is regret.

But while we dwell in regret,

More of these opportunities drain.
