Elementality

Is it when you can feel the emotion of the music When is it real Why do they abuse it Where is the line drawn What makes this different From cool calm water To raging waves And currents and rapids From a soft breeze To hurricanes And tornadoes And storms From a delicate shower To monsoons And lightning And floods From a warm fire To raging flames And forest fires And eruptions So essential So welcomed To feared And hated It's not a matter of weather But a matter of whether We try to find those that need To those in drought To those with lonely sails To those with flightless kites To those weary plants We go from being cherished And embraced To being extinguished And replaced No longer retraced Simply erased

Longboard_Man

I've been writing poetry for about two years now, I just finished my first year at Purdue and I am a gymnast, parkour enthusiast, longboarder and I do pretty much every other extreme sport, and I adore nature.
