Eleven Stories

Eleven stories I'll tell you
....what a long way down
I hear somebody "fell" once
the same way that people just "drown"
I've watched my body from the outside
no soul Iam just a drone!
cold and empty questions
helpless and alone
you can hear me from the east
sobing at the west
imagining this glass isnt real
regretting things of past
just wake me from this nightmare
just tell me she is fine
for she does not deserve this
her hearts so pure compared to mine!
shes the caring person that always helps the weak
the very same weak I used to eat
and now I'm just a mind searching for belief

* thoughts from the 11th floor cancer ward Mt sanai hospital ...late august 2009
*dedicated to mom
