Elsewhere

The cold air flooded lungs of the sick,

the smell of sanitation and cleanliness was found amongst the stench of the ill,

No one was happy to be found here

The room was dimly lit by grimy windows

the bed that restlessly held a patient was found to the left of the puny doorway,

to the right was an uncomfortable, stained couch

No one was happy to be found here

The room was no help to the doubtful attitude of the patient inhabiting it

No one was happy to be found here

The patient's mind wandered to places that not a soul would want to travel to;

the thoughts that were coming to mind kept the patient up at night, barely able to sleep

No one was happy to be found here

The patient waited for family to come and cheer them up,

to drag them out of their state of mind; however, they never came

No one was happy to be found here

The patient fought with all their might to get out of their own head,

they wanted so badly to live

But since no one was happy to be found here, they decided to go elsewhere
