The Elusive Meaning of Poetry

What is poetry? Is it the minds meer perception of thought divised through words and vision? Is it "chains and gangs" or even rhyming about permiscuous women? Although many can try to simply explain these verses in their perception, like the devices in our hands, the phones we hold grand, poetry survives through its connection. Poetry can free your mind from lonesome neglect, be your eyes when your blinded by regret, light up the sky even though the sun has set, although a picture paints a thousand words these verses that herd such ellaborate adjuncts and verbs are something i could never forget. So what is poetry to me? Poetry is the feeling you get when you talk to friend, when two are alike, the two forces can mend, poetry, like a router, is about the connection it sends, right from the very first word, until the final "the end"
