Email To My Professor

Dear Professor.

It’s just a quick question,

Why can’t I press send?

Minutes and hours;

Oh! the time that I’ve spent.

Will you read this at all?

Been staring too long,

I’ve read through it twice.

Did I use a word wrong…

In my drafts for some time

My email will stay,

This colon, that phrase,

What’s left for me to say?

When I’m finally done,

It’s a waiting game

Class section, ID,

Should I use your first name?

I wait and I tap,

Hope for a response

And then there it is

“Yeah ok - ur prof”
